I have developed, refined and perfected a tree transplanting method that ensures a seamless transition from the source to the new location. Although my method of hand digging, burlap wrapping, and securing the root ball with sisal rope using a macramé-like style is more labor-intensive, physically demanding, and requires teamwork, it offers a profound sense of fulfillment and ensures longevity for the tree. Unlike with other methods, such as the wire basket method, the trees that I transplant have ample time to acclimate to their new surroundings. The burlap and sisal rope gradually decompose over time, allowing the tree to grow freely and flourish in its new home.
